Is Sydney becoming more violent?

I do not know about you guys but I think it is. I'm only 17 but I can put two and two together. I mean, listen to the radio. A girl being abducted and d in leichart, an innocent man shot dead in his truck in Bankstown, constant robberies, muggings, etc. The bank robberies are getting worse too. It use to be give me the money or I'll shoot. Now they just run in firing shots everywhere. what do you think about the situation? Any stories to tell?
