Okay, so everyone says you can't tickle yourself. i can. why is this?

I am so so so ticklish, even when someone barley tries to tickle me i can't help but laugh. But I was reading and people say you can't tickle yourself so of course being me i tried haha and i can it still tickles me!? why!?! does anyone know haha
