How many Texans want to secede?

There are over 24 million people in Texas, Texas would do fine as an Independent nation. We have our own oil and refineries, agriculture and textiles, we don't need the fed to protect our borders, they don't do it anyway. When you think about it,.. it starts sounding better and better. Why SHOULDN'T we? If we get rid of the federal jobs we would save a ton of money.
