What is a small, good pet?

i nknow you said you DONT want a rat. but i am a rat owner. they are actually better the hamsters and such. they DONT bite are very smart and clean. alot of ppl hate rats cuz when they think of rats they picture a large gross sewer rat. infact rats from a pet store are NOTHING like those rats, rats you buy in pets stores are very sweet and loving. i had 16 rats at once not by choice(unexpected litter) but i loved every single one of them. so dont diss the rats till you meet and or play with one in a pet store. they stole my heart.
